Hairstory

Hairstory New Wash is the new miracle all-in-one cleanser that you never knew you needed. It’s the cream cleanser that doesn’t weigh your hair down and also conditions your ends and keeps your hair looking vibrant.

I’ve been using it religiously in the salon on all of my clients ever since I tried it in summer of 2021.

It’s a cream cleanser and conditioner in one that doesn’t strip the hair as it cleanses.

I absolutely love it and if you’ve been in my chair I have most likely talked your ear off about how amazing it is.

The Three Cleanser Formulas:

Original

The Original formula is great for almost everyone.

If you don’t have any major issues like dryness or damage, go with the Original.

Rich

If you have dry or curly hair, or both, the Rich formula is for you. It’s the most hydrating and nourishing of all three formulas.

I use it on all my clients with dry hair and leave it in a few minutes extra as a deep conditioning mask.

Deep

I love the Deep formula for finer hair that is prone to oiliness. I use this formula myself and I can’t say enough good things about it!

Make sure you use a generous amount for maximum cleansing.

Styling Products

Dressed Up

Dressed up is go-to your heat protectant.

It’s a lightweight lotion that can be applied as your first step before styling, or before adding Undressed, Hair Balm or Wax.

Apply a few pumps into your hands, and work through damp hair. Style as usual.

Hair Balm

I love Hair Balm. Hair Balm is my absolute favorite go to when I’m styling hair. Take a couple of pumps into your hands, work it through damp hair and style as usual.

You can use it before you blowdry or to bring out your curls or waves to air-dry.

If you have very fine hair, use it sparingly because it can be a little sticky on finer hair.

For curly and/or dry hair, don’t be afraid to use a generous amount.

Hair Oil

Hair Oil is my favorite new oil. I mix it in with Hair Balm and the result is divine. A mixture of argan oil, vitamin E, murumuru seed butter and abyssinian oil — I’m in love. Use on damp and dry hair.

UNDRESSED

Undressed is a lightweight texture spray; a sea salt spray without the sticky, crunchy sea salt feeling.

Best applied on damp hair at the roots. Spray as much as you want.

It truly is lightweight.

I also like to spray it on dry hair to bring out the wave and then rake my fingers through.

Wax

Wax is a strong hold paste meant for anyone who needs that extra styling power.

I love working it into shorter haircuts like pixies, and on curly hair around the hairline to tame the frizzies.

For curly hair, you can apply it on damp hair and twist your curls as you want them to sit.

You can apply it on damp or dry hair.

On damp hair, it disappears into the hair and doesn’t feel greasy or sticky at all.

Powder

Powder is a dry shampoo that can be applied at the roots to create grit and texture.

Even though it’s white in color, it disappears into the hair and gives you the coolest volume to bring out your crown layers or fluff up your bangs.

It’s an amazing product for anyone with fine or oily hair.

Lift

Lift is a volumizing spray that creates grit and volume at the roots and defines your curls.

Apply a very light mist on damp hair and massage or work it through.

Too much of Lift can be sticky, so a light mist is all you need for the volume you’re looking for.

Spray a light mist over your curly hair to give bounce to the haircut.

Brush

This mighty brush will exfoliate and massage your scalp in one go. Work New Wash into the scalp in circular motions and enjoy the feeling of being pampered in your shower.
