Which Round Brush Should You Buy? Ceramic vs. Natural Blowdry Hair Brushes
Choosing a round brush for your hair type and hairstyling dreams can be overwhelming, but not to fret! As a professional stylist, I’ve tried them all - natural brushes, ceramic, large, small, drugstore and professional brands. In this video I’m breaking it all down for you: how to choose the bristles and the sizes of your brushes.
I’ve been doing hair for almost 7 years now and I swear by Olivia Garden and Moroccan Oil brushes. They are truly the best.
Remember:
The larger the brush, the straighter the hair and the faster your blowdry.
Tension is the most important part of a good blow-out. You want to buy brushes that have strong tension without breaking the hair. Tension is what gives hair smoothness and shine, especially on the ends.
The size of your brush determines the size of your blowdry. Just like with makeup, we use a brush size that corresponds to the size of the hair section. Using a size that’s too small or too big won’t give you nice results.
